At this very moment we are preparing our trip.
We’ve made our choice of motorbikes. We preferred to have two equal bikes so we can carry less spare parts and we only need knowledge of one motorbike. Our pick is the Honda XL600V Transalp, it is not so heavy, Marianne can reach the ground (although it still needs some lowering, for her to reach the ground more easy), and it can be raised enough for Sander to make him comfortable on the bike. The next steps of our preparation are:

• Prepare the bikes for the trip
• Practice a lot with the bikes
• Learn to drive off-road
• Learn Spanish

Because of the weather we would like to start learning Spanish, so when spring begins we can start prepping our bikes.
